Some Fall Fun

Yesterday was a lot of fun. I really wanted to get out and do some fun fall things.

We got together with our friends the Fowlers to go to a little festival at daybreak and then a pumpkin patch. Well the daybreak thing was sooo crowded and they didn't have enough stuff for the kids so we stayed about 20 minutes. Then it was raining so hard the pumpkin patch was out:(

Luckily I had planned to have the kids frost cookies so it wasn't a total dud of a day;)

First we had the kids decorate aprons.

Then we frosted a lot of cookies.

We finished out the night by going to our Ward Halloween Party.

I found out that Paul had a karate outfit he got on his mission in Japan so I thought I'd dress up. My friend Holly had a ton of other costumes and Paul chose the convict. I'm glad he got in the spirit of dressing up:)

Karlee was a "nerd". I wouldn't call her a nerd because she looked too cute. Oh teenagers;) Of course Hudson had to be buzz. My cousin Amy shipped a costume from AZ for us to borrow. He got so many compliments even from the other "buzz"s at the party because his costume had wings.

Silly kid!

Yep thats my kid in the costume parade;)

Good times!

Soccer!

All I can say is soccer for a 3 year old was quite the experience.

First day he wanted to have nothing to do with it. He was whiney and crying. No fun:(

Next couple of games he went out and "played". Basically he found a dirt hole and played in and got other kids to play in it.

He loved getting together with the team and yelling "one...two...three...hornets!"

The rest of the games were filled with bribes and threats to get him to play. Ya I became that kind of mom;). Didn't really help. I think at this age he is not really into team sports. He was happiest when he was just playing with one kid on the sidelines.

Hudson with his new friend Keaton.

Finished with getting a cool trophy that lights up;)

Oh well we might try again next year;)

Utah State Fair!!!

Oh how I love the fair! It never disappoints. We always have the best time! This year Karlee and Hudson, along with my nieces, joined me for the festivities.

This year we all entered stuff yea! First we met up to see how we did.

The gang:

My yummy smores brownies...I was disapointed because I didn't see a ribbon well I guess it was there because they sent it to me in the mail. I got 3rd place!!! (It's the middle back one..the comments were: "nice and gooey good!"
Ya my friends took 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th in the chocolate chip section..They used the same dough! but made it unique;)
Linzi was #1. Yay!
My peanut butter/choc chips bars got 4th place. The comments were: "A little under cooked"...Oh well we thought they tasted good;)
Our yummy elephant ears.

Funny/Silly pics throughout the fair!
